A kitchen extractor fan leaves you with the enjoyment of cooking without the ongoing food odours.

This fan was clogged up with dust and dirt and could have become a fire risk!

Steamy windows? Damp bathroom or kitchen walls? Mould on your tiles? Strong odours?

Maybe it's time to have an extractor fan fitted.

For bathrooms, en-suites and cloakrooms extractor fans are a welcome addition. Their primary purpose is to extract steam and odours from the area in which they are fitted. They help to reduce damp (which causes mould) and helps circulate the air more effectively. There are various types of extractor fans on the market, from the standard 'pull cord' to the more sophisticated 'timed' slimline options.

Bathroom extractor fans can be wall or ceiling mounted and fitted to a window. The timed fans are adjustable and can be set to run to your individual specifications.

For kitchens, extractor fans can also be fitted in the ceiling or wall (in much the same way as bathrooms) but more commonly in kitchens a different type of extractor fan is fitted above the oven / hob (commonly known as a cooker hood). There are various options available from, the standard type extractor to integrated hoods. Or for more luxury choose a stylish chimney type extractor fan which are available in different colours and sizes and can be fitted with a glass or stainless steel splashback.
