Ipswich Bathroom

The bathroom was ready for an update. It was a typical 1990's style with an oversized suite and carpeted floor. The Couple had an en-suite shower room but were fed up with their teenage children coming in and out of their bedroom to use the shower. They wanted to update the bathroom to combine a luxury haven for themselves and a functional shower room for their children and guests. Time for Freshwater's design and installation service for a space fit for purpose.

What we did

The old suite, soil stack and tiled boxing were removed. The old radiator was removed and pipe work was re-routed to accommodate a towel rail on the other side of the bathroom. A shower pump was fitted under the bath to pump the bath mixer tap and decking lights were carefully placed in the tiles and bath panel to create mood lighting.

The finish

The finished bathroom looks stunning.

Removing the old boxing and soil stack and replacing the carpet with laminate has completely transformed the floor space. The modern wall tiles and vertical border create an illusion of added height and the large mirror on the main bathroom wall, reflects more light. The small shower screen provides ample protection when using the shower but doesn't enclose the bath space when the shower's not in use. Adding the simple chrome assessories and the stunning neon lights makes the bathroom a truly relaxing space for the couple to enjoy and a functional room for guests and family.
